A New York financial executive with more than a decade of experience, Manuel Maximino serves as head of Deutsche Bank’s Latin America Derivatives and Fixed Income Trading segment. Building a team from the ground up, he recruited leading talent and reconfigured operations to increase trading volumes and significantly reduce balance sheet usage. Manuel Maximino’s responsibilities include market making for institutional clients and managing Latin American credit market activities.
Manuel Maximino began his career with Deutsche Bank in Buenos Aires, assisting traders with securities valuation methodologies. After completing a quantitatively focused training program in London, he moved to New York in 2004 as an analyst in the Emerging Markets division, where he was responsible for Mexican local market swaps and interest rate options trading. He subsequently transferred to an associate position with the Latin America Exotics segment, where he was tasked with hedging and pricing exotics securities in diverse swap types. In that role, Manuel Maximino worked closely with the bank’s quantitative team in improving pricing and risk management capacities.
